“Upon a recommendation from a couple of friends, I tried out using Stevens for some problems I was having with our family minivan. I can’t say enough how thorough and honest of a job this shop has done for me and my family. Since bringing in the van for some exhaust problems and being thrilled with the work Stevens did, we’ve brought it back for a brake job and some other minor issues one of our cars was having. His prices have always been at or below his quote and the work is done quickly. On one occasion, Dave Stevens even drove me home seven miles when I didn’t have a ride back.
Additionally, I have sent my mother there for some problems she was having with her car and he has been so honest with her that when she showed up asking for an $1,100 exhaust vapor system repair (per the analysis of another repair show asking $1,300 for the same job), he talked her out of it and fixed the problem free of charge with just a minor repair elsewhere on the vehicle. Since then, my mother is a sworn believer in this place and has returned several times for other repairs. In most cases, Stevens just fixes the problem right on the spot and won’t even charge her. I don’t know how he stays in business. I’ve also referred a cousin of mine to him for what she thought would be an $800 job, and with just a phone conversation, Dave explained to her how to fix the problem without needing any repair. This place is amazing and very worthy of your business.
Word to the wise…this is not a typical, fancy auto repair shop on a busy street corner. It’s hidden away behind another business in the approximate vicinity of Delnor Hospital and is just a smallish place with a couple of auto experts fixing vehicles. Just follow your navigation and find the place and you’ll agree that it’s well worth the effort.”
